Who is Cassidy?

   Hello! I'm Cassidy Sweetland, hailing from the quaint Danish-inspired town of Solvang, California. As a performing artist, I thrive on the stage, but my passion goes further than just performing. I love teaching empathy and delving into the reasons behind people's actions, exploring how their experiences shape their paths. Since we don’t have a choice about where we come from, it’s empowering to understand each other's history. For me, it's all about having fun and spreading joy along the way.

 

   Currently, I'm a student at Rider University, pursuing a BFA in musical theatre. I love the excitement of New York City and often find myself exploring its vibrant streets. I'm enjoying my day-to-day life with my four roommates and my cat, Skimble. Fashion, especially vintage, is another one of my passions. I love expressing myself and my eclectic personality through my style. My travels have taken me to Europe twice, including an enriching experience performing devised theatre with META at Teatro Della Pergola in Italy. Through travel, I hope to learn even more about the world.

 

   Oh, and did I mention? I have a deep love for directing and learning how things move behind the table.
